When I was 12 years old I knew I’d be a professional photographer. Just had to get through business school (Pace University, NYC) in case photography didn’t work out. But I always knew it would.
And, 25 years later here’s proof – I’m still doing what I love most!
Today the rush is still stronger than ever, constantly learning and growing as I perfect my trade.
I’m naturally drawn to people & family dynamics. The excitement of working with different types of people is about as thrilling as it gets.
Effortlessly adapting my style and approach to the needs and sensitivities of my various clients. Getting children involved and excited is another of my specialties. No problem with me acting silly or goofy to get the kids inspired and involved. 
I’m blessed to be calm and focused under pressure which in this business is a tremendous asset. I care at least as much about the job as my clients. I treat people the way I want to be treated, respectfully, patiently and with full attention.
When I hear that someone doesn’t like to be photographed, I take it as a challenge to work extra sensitively, with the hopes of that person having a positive transformative experience. Exclamations such as “I don’t like my nose” or “my double chin” makes me rise to the occasion and convince them how beautiful and perfect they are.

So much of what I do starts way before the picture taking begins. I help people feel comfortable and natural. Confident in themselves and in me. When you feel good about yourself and you let things that aren’t in your hands go, it shines through in the pictures. I frequently jump in and offer words of encouragement during the shoot. Whenever needed I’m right there ready to coach and coax to ensure that you have the most positive and memorable experience.

My clientele includes music industry superstars such as Sting, Beastie Boys, Grace Jones, Vanessa Williams, MTV & MCA records, and my photographs have been published extensively in such magazines as Vogue, Town & Country, Brides & New York Magazine.
